For the Love of Grateful Meds

Time to get back to our roots here at MMN (yes, pun intended) and give a healthy, high, hurray to our friends Grateful Meds in Hollywood. Amazing medicine, large comfy waiting room and a very expansive inventory. A third of what they normally carry is usually the entire stocking at other dispensaries. They also list new additions and specials on a daily basis at their website. Prices and patient appreciation (a.k.a. free stuff) are super friendly. I am sure I don't just speak for myself when I say I am grateful for Grateful Meds.

Special thanks to my neighbor Eric for realizing what a sick man I am and getting me a membership when they were not taking new patients (they are now though). I owes you one, my friend.

A Short Sharp Shock Review - Bridesmaids

I know I said I would stay away from chick flix, but this one is actually funny (until the end when it plunges into an over explained morality lesson for the brain dead in the audience). Rose Byrne plays completely against the type of roles she normally takes and she nails it. And Wendi McLendon-Covey, my fav on Reno 911, is awesome as usual. Make sure you rent this.

Retro Movie Moments - Angel Heart

The past week has been a real hot, sticky one in the dirty city. I don't feel quite as gross as Mickey Rourke's wife beater, but I'm getting mighty close. Enjoy the sizzle and the steam (while we all know it's really the humidity that does you in).

Alligator@Cinefamily

Here gator, gator! Come see our hungry, coldblooded friend grow up and chow down in this classic B-film staple. Cinefamily, you make midnight movies worth staying up for again.
