There are so many known and unknown stories in Tinsel Town. Tarantino’s ninth film is his first foray into showing the power of Hollywood in its fully cinematic, mythological-making wonderland of excess & loss. Since this takes place in the late sixties, QT can mix and mash as he wants, similar to what he did in Inglourious Basterds. Will he get us to cheer the death of Charlie Manson so Sharon Tate can live? We’ve got a little under two months to kill until we find out what bloody conclusions were made. So in the meanwhile, I’m going to be like Brad Pitt and use it productively.
In regard to the poster art above, this is NOT the official movie posters, but an amazing interpretation by artist Federico Mancosu. Go to his site to see more rad versions and some backstory some of his pieces.
